MegaFon says to zero data costs for 10 platforms on Nov sales days

MOSCOW, Nov 10 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operator MegaFon will cancel charges for Internet traffic for its subscribers for 10 platforms, including marketplaces Ozon and Wildberries, during the November shopping spree days, an operator representative told PRIME on Friday.

“On the Global Shopping Day and the Black Friday, when online platforms run the widest sales, MegaFon will treat its subscribers to free mobile data for shopping. The operator will zero costs of traffic for the 10 most popular trading platforms – Ozon, Wildberries, Lamoda, Yandex Market, SberMarket, Avito, Youla, Taobao, AliExpress, and KazanExpress,” the representative said.

The option will be valid on November 11 and November 24–26 and will switch on automatically for the clients with a positive balance.

Thousands of brick-and-mortar and online stores across the country take part in the November sales, and mobile traffic on the operator’s network jumps 62% in comparison to the January–October average.
